Holiday Gifts
Over the holidays I received a few skincare gifts and samples with purchases. These are a few I’ve been enjoying.
First Aid Beauty Face Cleanser is a fragrance free gentle cleanser. It has aloe and allontoin which help calm skin as well as glycerin which is a humectant and can help hydrate and smooth skin.
The Ordinary Hyrolonic Acid serum is a great step after cleaning to apply to a damp face as Hyaluronic Avid holds onto water.
Avenue Soothing Radiance Mask is full of antioxidants that can help restore a compromised skin barrier. The winter cold and blasting heat has my skin needing a little extra care.
L’Oréal Eye Defense has hyraluronic acid for hydration, caffeine that can help with puffiness, and mica that reflect light and gives an instant brightening effect.
Charlotte’s Magic Cream is a thick occlusive moisturizer that contains vitamin C and E to brighten the complexion. It provides a very smooth base for applying makeup. I really like the formula except the added fragrance which can cause irritation to some.
