Do you need an eye cream?

Short answer...no. Your normal moisturizer works fine. However, if you have dark circles or puffiness there are a few helpful ingredients that may help.

Caffeine: Caffeine is a vasoconstrictor, which means that it constricts blood vessels. Caffeine can help reduce the look of puffiness and dark circles under the eyes and it can also help to fortify the delicate skin around the eye.

Licorice: Licorice has skin-soothing properties and cab improve uneven skin tone. One of its components, known as glabridin, is a potent antioxidant and skin-soothing ingredient, can help for sensitive, reddened skin.

Retinol: Using an eye cream with retinol is a good idea if you're trying to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, or just trying to prevent any future ones.
